So, how about you utilize that space with a wall niche? We’ll build it to your specs and make it a quick, easy, and affordable kit.

Measuring your niche consists of providing measurements for the height, width, and depth along with choosing a style. For clarification regarding the above measurements, please use the above pricing calculator and click on the “?” tool tips next to each measurement for more information.
Choosing a niche style is mostly personal taste along with the overall design/theme of the home. We currently have 3 styles available: soft, half-circle, and dome top. The soft style gives you the ability to control the depth in instances where you either prefer or need a shallower recess. The half-circle style has depth that is half the width, providing a cylindrical shape. The dome top style is a half-circle niche with a half-dome on top.
Your niche kit will come with instructions tailored to your style and specifications. You’ll begin by fastening the top and bottom niche struts and then spacing the remainder of your niche struts equidistantly. The spacing of the niche struts will not exceed 16” O.C. If you choose the dome top style, instructions to complete the half dome will be provided.
We'll make installation a breeze. Whether you're installing the niche with dome top, the half-circle niche, or the soft style niche, as long as you have a nail gun (or screw gun) you'll find the whole process reminiscent of coloring by number. Watch for yourself how easy we make it!
Drywalling a wall niche is comprised of measuring the curvature, cutting the drywall to the curvature, forming and fastening in place. We had a project with a large fireplace that sat against a tall wall. Something was missing from the design so I had the guys at Archways & Ceilings build me a large curved fireplace canopy to create a cool custom feature for this area. The kit was made to my spec’s and was easy to assemble. The combination of the straight lines of the fireplace and the bell curve shaped lines of the canopy truly makes this space one of a kind.
As a framing contractor, anything with a radius, prior to Archways & Ceilings, meant I or one of my skilled hands would have to build it. What was time consuming and costly is now easy and affordable. Their balcony rims transformed what would’ve been a laborsome task into a quick and easy job.
